Guardian ad Litem Foundation Second Circuit, Inc. is a charitable, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit volunteer organization founded to support the Second Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program.

Through fundraising, public outreach and volunteer support, the foundation works closely with our program to help provide for the needs of abused and neglected children in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla counties.

Established in 1988, the foundation conducts fundraising and marketing activities, volunteer recruitment programs, membership drives, special events and collects donations.

This support helps secure basic necessities for children such as medical care, household goods, school supplies, baby needs and clothing, most of which would not have been available with state agency support alone.

Among the annual events the foundation organizes and runs are the Holiday Gift Drive — which ensures that every child represented by our program in need of gifts during the holiday season receives them — and Cupcakes and Cookies for Kids.

By reaching out to these kids in our community, we all make a big difference in the quality of their lives. You can learn about becoming a Partner Partner Medal and download a brochure (coming soon).

Originally called Child Advocates II of Tallahassee, Inc., the organization shortened its name to Child Advocates II, Inc. in May 2003. CAII changed its name to Guardian ad Litem Foundation Second Circuit, Inc. in October 2017.
